Willem "Bill" Antony Van Bergeyk

With heavy hearts, we announce that Willem Antony Van Bergeyk of Salmon Arm, BC, passed away peacefully on March 1, 2026, at Shuswap Lake General Hospital at the age of 80. He was surrounded by his wife of 57 years and several of his children.

Bill was born on November 24, 1945, in Breda, Netherlands, to Willem and Nellie Van Bergeyk.

Bill was predeceased by his parents and is survived by his loving wife, Zina; his five beloved children, Alisa and Rob Greidanus, Anthony and Damaris Van Bergeyk, Chris and Christine Van Bergeyk, Dave and Lizzy Van Bergeyk, and Eric Van Bergeyk; and 21 precious grandchildren and their partners. He is also survived by his siblings, Helen Yusko; Ted and Linda Van Bergeyk; John and Helen Van Bergeyk; and Sylvia Comis, as well as multiple cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A Funeral and Celebration of Life will take place on Saturday, March 21, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. at Broadview Evangelical Free Church, 350 30th Street NE, Salmon Arm.
