Walter Christian Brettermayer

Walter Christian Brettermayer was born June 14, 1936 in Leoben, Donawitz, Austria. 

Walter immigrated to Canada in 1957, and Anna joined Walter in 1958. They married in Prince Rupert, BC in 1958. Walter began his own business of carpentry and painting. 

1964 brought Norman to make the pair a family. 

1976 Walter began a career with BC Hydro and the family moved to Mica, and then to Revelstoke. They fell in love with the beauty, lifestyle, and views of Revelstoke and set down roots for good. 

Walter was predeceased by his Father, Mother, son; Norman, brother; Hans, niece; Bettina, and many life long friends. 

Walter is survived by his loving wife; Anna, daughter in-law; Susan (Corey), grandchildren; Samantha, Chad, Kyra, Shaunine, William, Payton, and 3 beautiful grandsons; Norman, Dawson, Hazen and many family still in Europe.
