Fran Belinski Dubois passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, on November 8th, 2025.
Fran is survived by her loving husband, Norbert; their children, Keith (Caralea), Randy (Aly), and Ashley (Franco); and their five grandchildren — Taylor, Jakob, Landon, Zoey, and Carson. She is also survived by her sisters, Joanne (Glenn) and Debbie, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Fran was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Margaret, her daughter, Sheryl Dawn, and her sister, Judy.
Fran was born in Gimli, Manitoba, on July 17th, 1949, and moved to Revelstoke with her parents when she was just two years old. Over the years, she became a deeply loved member of the community. Many will remember her warm smile, quick laugh, and kind heart from her 26 years working as a cashier at Coopers Foods — where she made friends out of everyone who came through her line.
More than anything, Fran was a devoted and loving wife, mother, nana and sister. Her family was her greatest pride and joy, and she never missed a chance to show her love — whether it was through a home-cooked meal, a heartfelt chat on the deck, or a simple hug that made everything better. Her home was always filled with laughter, music, and the kind of warmth that made everyone feel welcome.
In her retirement, Fran loved traveling with Norbert and spending time surrounded by family and friends — often on the deck, music playing, stories being told, and plenty of laughter to go around.
The family would like to extend their heartfelt thanks to the doctors and nurses at Queen Victoria Hospital, as well as the paramedics and Revelstoke Fire Rescue, for their excellent care and compassion.
A celebration of life for Fran will be held on November 29th, 2025, at 12:00 p.m. at the Catholic Church Hall.
All are welcome to attend and share in remembering Fran’s beautiful life.
