Trevor Uhrich

Trevor Uhrich passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Golden, B.C. on Monday, December 21st, 2020 at the age of 69 years.  There will be no formal funeral service but Trevor’s cremated remains were interred in the family plot in the Golden Community Cemetery.

Trevor was born in Kelowna, B.C. on March 21, 1951 and had been a resident of Golden since he was a small child.  His working career was in residential and commercial construction, a job he took great pride in.  Trevor enjoyed camping, travelling and tinkering in his shop.  He will be remembered for his UBK (“useless book knowledge”).  Trevor was a “Mr. Fix-It” and could fix almost anything.  If grandpa couldn’t fix it, you were out of luck!

Trevor was predeceased by his parents, Dan and Kate Uhrich; his sister Ethel and brother-in-law Bob Campbell; his sister Penny Ricard and his nephew Shane Ricard.  He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 47 years, Berneice of Golden; two sons: Troy (Terri) Uhrich of Golden and Everett Uhrich of Golden; two granddaughters: Sidney and Hailey Uhrich, both of Golden; brother-in-law Henry (Susan) Ricard of Golden as well as numerous nieces, nephews and good friends.

The Uhrich family would like to thank everyone for the cards, flowers and food sent to them.  A special thank you to the Golden Fire Department, RCMP and Ambulance staff for all their assistance.  Thanks also to Hindman Bowers Funeral Home for their care and support.
