Thomas Frank Carnochan Jones

With heartfelt sadness, we announce the passing of Tom on Friday, April 4, 2025 at the age of 82 years. He is survived by his daughters; Tracy (Brian Bawtinheimer), Kim (Steve Bowen), stepdaughter; Kimberley (Lance Morrow) and stepson; Patrick (Jessica Anderson) as well as his grandchildren; Matthew, Ian, Aaron, William, Emma, Ava, Jaykob, Jaxon, Sarah, Ryan, Jason, and Ethan. Tom was predeceased by his wife; Fai and his parents; Tom and Rose Jones.                                                                                                                                                                                 
Born on May 19, 1942 in Penticton, he learned mechanics from an early age working in his parents’ orchard and became a jack of all trades, master of many! As a young man, Tom’s life was one of adventure. He loved camping, cars, fishing and became a nationally recognized sharpshooter. He gave his time and energy back to his community, having been auxiliary RCMP and a search and rescue volunteer in Penticton. He was also a member of multiple service clubs including Past President of the Revelstoke Lions Club.           

He settled in Revelstoke in 1978 where he met and married the love of his life, Fai. He was a loving husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. He will be missed by all whose lives he touched dearly. “See you on the other side.”

In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Tom may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society of B.C.
