Theodore William Edes, 85, passed away suddenly on the morning of June 9, 2022, near his home in Silver Creek, BC. "Teddy" or "Ted", is survived by his brother David (Cecile) Edes, nieces Sherry Melville, Michelle (Tyson) Edes, and Sandra (Scott) Edes, as well as three great nieces and two great nephews. Ted studied theology and teaching at university, but his love of the outdoors led him to take several different jobs working outside. No stranger to hard work, he was the third generation of his family to live and work on the family farm and continued working right up to the day of his passing. An affable character, Ted enjoyed the company and conversation of family and friends, He attended the Silver Creek Seventh Day Adventist Church in Silver Creek and was a person of devoted Christian faith his entire life. A frequently charitable person, he was often of service to those in his church and community. He will be deeply missed by family and friends.

A service in remembrance of Theodore will take place on Saturday, July 30, 2022, at 3:00 p.m. at the Shuswap Seventh Day Adventist Church in Salmon Arm at 3270 60th Ave NE.
