Terri-Anne Lynn (McKay) Hambruch

Terri-Anne Lynn Hambruch nee Mckay, Born in Beville Ontario 01 June 1967, Died 10 July 2026 in Golden BC. She is survived by her father Jim, her husband Chris, her daughter Dassie, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins - all will miss her dearly.

Always with a smile and a cheerful disposition, Terri was known by many but very few ever really got to know her well. She held those she knew and trusted very close to her heart and would do anything she could to help them. Terri had an insatiable desire to learn and a very gifted to read and comprehend any book she took on. A book of 700 pages was devoured in the time it took me to read a comic book. Whatever she learned was filed into a huge memory bank of all sorts of trivial bits that were readily available when you ask her a question. Her love of learning and doing led her many different crafts, there are too numerous mention here. Terri wanted 'I have a book' on her tombstone. While there won't be a tombstone, it will be in her obituary today .

Her friends would tell you that you couldn’t ask for a more loyal, sincere, or fiercely independent confidante. Brilliantly sharp and endlessly creative, Terri humbly considered herself a craftsman rather than an artist, always eager to master new hobbies and generously pass that knowledge along. She had a rare, unapologetic brilliance and stood firmly in her convictions, always ready to entertain deep, spirited discussions on history, politics, or whatever topic came to mind—especially if it was shared over a long chat or during a road trip.

Above all, Terri was a steadfast "search angel" and a devoted anchor for those she held dear. Whether spending hours online tracking down long-lost connections, sharing hilarious rants about bad drivers, or offering an honest, compassionate ear through life's toughest moments, she always brought laughter, comfort, and unconditional support. Her good heart, quick wit, and incredible loyalty leave a lasting mark on all that had the of knowing her and called her a friend. She will be missed.
