Teresa was born in Bagnoli Irpino, Avellino, Italy on September 27, 1940. She came to Canada in 1960 and settled here in Revelstoke. Teresa and her husband, Domenico raised their children in their lifelong home on First Street West. She was strong in her faith and attended Mass weekly. Teresa was an avid gardener and loved to grow flowers; many remarked on her beautiful garden as they walked by or came to visit. She was a very good cook and baker and loved to share with others.
After the passing of their husbands, she and her neighbours settled into a daily routine of visiting after supper for a cup of tea and a game of cards. Teresa’s blessing was her grandchildren, and they were the light of her life.
Teresa was predeceased by her parents, several siblings and by her beloved husband, Domenic in 2010. She is survived by her daughter, Angela Thompson (Bill Rear) of Revelstoke and her son, Jim (Shannon) Meloro of Vernon; six grandchildren: Tyler (Christi) Thompson, Matteo Thompson, Terren Meloro, Graicen Meloro, Domenico Meloro and Ava Meloro; one great grandson, Liam Thompson.
Arrangements were in the care of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home, Revelstoke.
