Shirley Honor DeBoer

Shirley Honor DeBoer passed away peacefully on September 8th, 2023 at the age of 83 years.

She will be remembered and sadly missed by her loving husband Edward DeBoer; children Calvin (Kristine), Tracy, Curt (LeeAnn) and Sherri; as well as 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren; and siblings John, Ted (Margret), Don (Dianne), Marianne (Doug), Glen (Cindy) and Peter (Yulanda).

Shirley is predeceased by her parents Don and Verna; siblings June, Bill and Tink; and granddaughter Carlee.

Over the years Shirley was active and would spend her time knitting, sewing, painting, driving tractor, assisting with John Deere Day and making the best bread and chocolate chip cookies, just to name a few. Shirley was known as nana, not just to her family but to many extended family and people in the community.

There will be a Celebration of Life on September 23, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. taking place at the Splatsin Community Center at 5775 Old Vernon Road, Enderby B.C.
