Scott Lawrence Webber

Scott Lawrence Webber, age 38, passed away peacefully in his sleep in his home on Wednesday March 1st, 2023. Scott was born on July 31st, 1984 to Dale and Laura Webber. His mother unfortunately passed away early in his life. Being the third child in his family, Scott grew up with his two older sisters Terri and Mandy and his younger brother Kris. As time went on, the family grew with the addition of Denice and her two sons, Jeremy and Phillip. Scott became a very proud, active, and loving uncle to many nieces and nephews. Scott really liked and looked forward to the many family gatherings, accomplishments and milestones throughout their upbringing and being a special part of their lives.

Scott had many accomplishments throughout his life such as attending the trades program through the Kimberly District College, getting married, and working for Parks Canada as well as locally for IGA and McDonalds. He was well known and liked throughout the community. Scott was very social and always happily received within the Town of Golden and with friends and family. Scott had an adventurous side to him as he loved the outdoors where he enjoyed spending time sledding, quadding, fishing, and even doing firewood. He was often seen cruising around town on his fancy scooter and loved stopping here or there to take a minute or two out of his day to visit and chat with several of the locals along his way. Her was very positive and always had a joke or funny story to tell and brighten everyone’s day.

Scott was known for his cheerful and charismatic personality which was apparent in his love for bright colors and flashy shirts often with flames and vibrant patterned print. He was blessed with eyelashes that any woman would envy and on most occasions, he received compliments on how gorgeous they were and how envious the girls were for them; he was even nicknamed Lashes at the local bank. Scott went out of his way to ensure everyone he knew felt the warmth within his heart and soul as he never missed a birthday or congratulations or Merry Christmas to everyone that was dear to him. He will be forever in our hearts and always in our thoughts and prayers and missed by all who knew him and had the privilege of being touched by him in some way or another. He will forever be remembered as a charming, loving, kind and caring soul who could light up a room with just the smile on his face.

A Celebration of Life Service for Scott Webber will be held on March 11, 2023 at 1:00pm at the Golden Seniors Centre.
