RODNEY JOSEPH IRMEN
Passed away peacefully surrounded by his children May 19 2025, at Mt, Cartier Court in Revelstoke BC after a short battle with Alzheimer's.
Born in Port Alberni BC, Rod moved his family to Revelstoke in 1980 to work construction as a Master Carpenter whose work can still be seen throughout the town and continued with that until he retired in 2010. He enjoyed spending his free time building Legos, spending time with friends and family and cooking.
Rod leaves behind daughter Samantha (Zach) Turkington of Revelstoke, Son Aaron Irmen of Revelstoke, brother Tom (Bunny) Irmen of Revelstoke and grandsons Wesley Widger of London Ont. And Xander Widger of Revelstoke and Friends for Life Al and Joan Olson of Fort St. John.
He was predeceased by his Former wife and still friend Maureen Melvin, parents Felix and Loretta Irmen and Brother Bruce Irmen and Lloyd Irmen.
The family would like to thank the Homecare workers and staff at Mt.Cartier court for the care they gave him in his final time. As per Rods wishes there will be no funeral or service.
