Robin William Froud

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robin Froud, our loving father, husband, brother, uncle, son and dear friend.  Robin fought hard and always stayed positive during his battle with cancer, and he passed with his family at his side.

Robin was born in Henley on Themes, England in 1966, then moved to Canada with his Mum and Dad and 4 siblings when he was 10 years old. He married Susan in 1995 and they have 3 beautiful children, Hannah, John and Lizzy.  They moved from Calgary to Salmon Arm in 2006 where together they raised their children, and he worked in the area as an electrician.

Robin always enjoyed the outdoor adventures; hiking, kayaking, exploring and camping with his family and friends.  He loved spending time up on the mountain and got to know every trail and road there is. He joined the Silver Creek Fire Department where he was a proud member and where his love for helping others was evident.

Robin will be missed and forever Loved by his family and friends.  He was the light and strength of his home.  His infectious smile will forever be in our memories.

A Celebration of Life will be held Monday February 3, 11:00 at Bowers Funeral Home in Salmon Arm, BC.  There will be a gathering at the Silver Creek Seniors Hall, 3056 Hornsberger Road, following the service.
