Robert "Rob" LeDuc Obituary

Robert (Rob) Roy LeDuc was born in Armstrong, the fourth of five children, on the first day of Fall, September 22nd, 1947. He abruptly left this world 78 years later on the first day of Spring, March 20th, 2026.

Rob married the love of his life, Gale Piggott, in 1974 and had three daughters, Reneigh Gerow (Terry), Sada Ellis (Ron), and Hallie Hamilton (Todd). He cherished his family, worked hard for them, and dedicated his life to making sure they always felt loved and supported. He was later blessed with seven grandchildren, Ashton, Troy, Coby, Selina, Jesse, Levin, and Vaughn, whom he loved and adored and got to watch grow. Rob worked for BC Tel as a lineman for 36 years, 25 of those alongside his partner, Bob Tams. He grew up and lived a quiet life in Gleneden, but also had a love for the prairies where he and Gale own a small acreage in Saskatchewan.

Rob loved music, playing crib daily with Gale, spending time in his garage, working in his sawmill, visits to the ocean, and spending time with friends and family. Rob continually showed love & compassion for all living things, a beautiful quality that he passed on to all of his children.

He is survived by his brothers Gene (Penny) and Fred, sister Lois Bodenham (Joe), and was predeceased by his parents, Rich & Dorothy, and brother, Vaughn (Gail).  It was Rob’s request to have no funeral service.  An outdoor gathering will be held in his honour at a later date.

We love you forever Rob, Dad, Grandpa. You were our rock.
