Robert "Glen" Glenwood White

      Robert Glenwood “Glen” White passed away in Squamish Hospital on September 30, 2024 at the age of 84 years.  An active member of the RCMP for 27 years, with numerous postings in Saskatchewan, Yukon and BC, finally settling with a new venture in Sparwood to own and manage a successful Insurance and Investment business. They retired to Logan Lake, with the loss of his wife Shirley in 2017, Glen relocated to Squamish for warmer weather.

     Survived by his wife, Marilynne Johnson of Squamish, son, Glen Jr (Stacie) White of Edmonton; grandchildren Paige, Emily and Allison, two great grandchildren Sylar and Freya. His daughter, Shawnalea passed away suddenly earlier this year.

       Funeral service will be at Bowers Funeral Chapel, Salmon Arm on Saturday, October 19th at 1 p.m. with interment with his late wife, Shirley, in Mt. Ida Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Mountainside room at Bowers.
