Robert Edward Harrison passed away on February 22, 2006, at the age of 85 years. He will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed by his devoted wife, Virginia Harrison.
Robert will be greatly missed by his children, Brian and Joanne Harrison of Port Moody, BC, and Wendy and Rick Hurlin of Kelowna, BC, his five grandsons and his adopted family Kathy, Chris, Kurt and their children.
He was predeceased by his parents, Pearl and John Harrison.
Robert was a man who loved life and the outdoors. He played hockey, baseball, and was an avid skier. He had a deep appreciation for fishing and camping. He spent 20 years as a dedicated member of the Revelstoke Fire Department and was also an active member of the Legion and the Lions. Known for his generous spirit and willingness to lend a hand, Robert was always ready to help others—there was truly nothing he couldn’t fix.
After retiring in 1997, Robert and Virginia enjoyed traveling and spending winters in warmer places, creating many cherished memories along the way. Above all, he loved spending time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
A Celebration of Life will be held on March 28th at 2:00 p.m. in the Brandon Bowers Funeral Home Chaple in Revelstoke.
