Pauline Gudny Goodman

Pauline Gudny Goodman passed away at Mt. Cartier Court Extended Care, Revelstoke on Saturday, June 18th, 2022, at the age of 97 years.  A Memorial Funeral Service will be held from the Revelstoke Senior Citizens’ Centre on Saturday, July 23rd at 2:00 p.m. Pauline’s cremated remains will be laid to rest beside her husband David in the Baldur Grund Cemetery at a later date.

Pauline was born in Baldur, Manitoba on March 10, 1925, and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1969.  She and her husband David owned and operated the Marshall Wells store in Revelstoke from 1969 to 1985.  Pauline enjoyed gardening, crocheting, knitting, writing stories, history, and photography.  She was an avid dancer and participated in line dancing for 25 years and loved dancing in the plaza to the music in the summer.  Pauline was a nature lover and had fond memories of living on the farm as a child and attending the country school.

Pauline was predeceased by her husband David in 2004 and her siblings: Sigrum, Ruby, Jonina, John, Halldur (aka Dory) and Sylvia.  She is survived by her three children: Linda Steenhart of Crossfield, Alberta, Dennis (Margo) Goodman of Sicamous and Darrell (Jacquesline) Goodman of Salmon Arm; grandchildren: Michael (Shelley), Justin (Carolyn), Joel (Cori), James, Heather (Derek Knecht) and Jackson (Arie); 8 great grandchildren: Reagan, Maddison, Jesse, Scarlet, Sarah, Odin, Austin and Amara as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
