Patrick N Pyper

It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of Patrick Neil Pyper on October 12th, 2025 at the age of 67.

Patrick was a loving father to Asha Holloway (Ryan Holloway), Bowen Pyper and Katiana Donatelli (Cameron Donatelli). Pat was also a very proud grandfather to Aidan, Emma Holloway and Otto Donatelli.

Patrick proudly served 42 years of his life in the Royal Canadian Mounted Police, dedicating most of his life to public service. His career and calling was a reflection on his deep sense of duty and care of others. This sense of duty and sacrifice resulted in many awards and accolades, most recently in the form of the BC Medal of Valour in which he received in early 2025.

Music was a large part of Pat’s life, and there was rarely a time when Pat was around that a song wasn’t playing in the background. It filled his home, and his life, and was a much loved passion. Guess the artist or song was a common game in his house, one he always seemed to know all the answers to. His knowledge and love of music was matched with a love of the game crib, a game he continued to win at until the end.

His wit, kindness and generosity will be missed by his colleagues and the public. His large presence, reliability and love will be deeply mourned by his family. If there are any stories or condolences the public would like to pass on to the family, please send them to patrickneilmemorial@gmail.com.
