Patricia Sela Gerow

Patricia Sela Gerow (nee Watts) was born September the 15th 1927 in Grande Prairie Alberta. Pat Passed away peacefully on July 3rd, 2026, in Salmon Arm BC at the age of 98 years, just over 2 months shy of her 99th Birthday.

Pat was married to the love of her life Keith for 74 years prior to his passing in November of 2021.

After relocating from Grande Prairie to Salmon Arm in 1967, Pat & Keith continued raising their family of 5 boys. For many years Pat could be found working behind the counter of the local Canada Post Office. In their spare time Pat and Keith were active square dancers and kept busy in retirement with RV’ing, golfing, curling and travelling. Pat loved to play the piano and continued to do so for many years.

Pat is survived by her 5 sons, Rod (Mern), Don (Carol), Terry (Reneigh), Randy (Debbie), Cam (Diane); 7 Grandchildren, Brock (Devon), Darcy (Sarah), Scott (Elisa), Darin (Melissa) Jennifer, Troy and Selina; 13 Great grandchildren, and 6 step grandchildren and 6 step great grand children of Mern and Rod.

Mom had a great sense of humor, a beautiful smile and a sharp wit to the very end.

Many thanks to the staff at Shuswap Lodge and most recently to the amazing caring staff at Hillside Village where she resided for the past two years. She will be missed by all she knew.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 12th, 2026 at 1:00 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home with a reception to follow. For those unable to attend, the service will be live-streamed.
