Patricia Lee Blew (née Bertram), 77, passed away peacefully in the presence of her immediate family on February 5, 2025, in Salmon Arm, BC. She was born on September 27, 1947, in Beaverlodge, AB, to Bud and Barb Bertram.
Pat is survived by her loving husband, Hank; her son, Darren (Tricia) Blew, and grandsons, Gabe and Leo; her daughter, Shawna (Kevin) Koll, and granddaughter, Samantha. She is also survived by her sister, Mona (Reg) Willis, and her brother, Wayne Bertram.
Known for her frankness and unwavering loyalty, Pat was someone who always spoke her mind and stood firmly by those she loved. She was dedicated to her family, offering both honesty and support in equal measures. Her strength of character and steadfast nature left a lasting impact on all who knew her.
Pat also had a deep commitment to her communities in Dawson Creek, Tumbler Ridge, and Grand Forks. She was always willing to lend a hand, whether through volunteering for Meals on Wheels, supporting the Curling Club, or contributing to the many other interests and hobbies she was passionate about. Her generosity and dedication made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
Pat’s presence will be deeply missed, and her memory will be cherished by those who truly knew and loved her.
A Celebration of Life will be held in Dawson Creek in the summer, with details to be shared at a later date.
