Mom grew up during the Depression with parents who believed in giving to others even when you had little yourself; a belief she lived by throughout her life.
As a child she was adventurous and athletic. She particularly loved playing baseball and played in both women’s and men’s leagues.
She married in 1946 and had 6 children, was a mother and homemaker and much more.
Her door was always open to anyone who needed a home away from home and she volunteered generously with different groups including teaching English as a second language.
She is survived by her daughters-
Donna Moffat(Davidson), Cathy Davidson,
Susan Parks (Davidson),Tammy Davidson, her son-in-law Michael Parks and daughter-in-law Jessebel Davidson (Losabio Diaz).
She was pre-deceased by-
Her husband Bartie Max Davidson, her sons William Paul and Terry Brian and her son-in-law Derrick Moffat.
In her adult life she was artistic enjoying various forms of drawing and painting and was an amazing art copiest; she was also a prolific writer and poet and expressed herself in this way throughout her adult life.
So in your own words Mom-
On the wings of time
rides life
and love
and circumstance
And with its passage
flows the need
and the desire
for the ultimate to happen.
When the spirit soars
there is content,
fulfillment and
a further need to soar.
But, all things must end
and be passed on
or at least passed by
so, there is time for rest.
Apr. 27/02. M.R.D.
She will be greatly missed by many.
With love always
