It is with sadness we announce the sudden passing in Shuswap Lake General Hospital on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 of Pauline Metcalfe at the age of 63 years.

Born in Quesnel, BC on June 17, 1957. Pauline has been a resident of the Shuswap since 1971, she is well remembered for her years of work in the restaurant service, having formerly worked at the Brass Kettle, Hideaway, Setters, Janes Place (of which she owned for a time). Pauline was a very determined girl, some would consider demanding, not one to sit around, let’s get things done. A very dedicated and loving mother and grandmother.

She leaves her husband of 45 years, Hugh, daughter Denise (Dan) Jagt and their children, Myah, Elijah and Jonah (twins) of Salmon Arm; son, Jason (Sarah) the their children Kai, Shaemus and Linden of Armstrong; her mother, Gerry Chamberlain of Salmon Arm; siblings Denis, Daniel and Conrad all of Campbell River, Susan of Vernon, Bryan of Salmon Arm.

A private Celebration of Life was held on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. Due to Covid restrictions, attendance was strictly limited and the service was live streamed. To watch a recording, please click the link below.
