It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Eleanor Eliason, who went to be with the Lord on March 7th, 2025, at the age of 84.
Eleanor was a lifelong resident of Salmon Arm, BC, where she built a life filled with faith, family, and a deep love for her community. She will be lovingly remembered and sadly missed by her daughter, Patricia (Lawrence) Lepp of Sorrento, BC, her five grandchildren, and her 15 great-grandchildren. She is also mourned by her sibling, Pat Donnelly. Eleanor is now reunited in eternity with her beloved husband, James Eliason.
An avid gardener, Eleanor found joy in nurturing both the earth and the people around her. She generously shared her knowledge and harvest, always eager to provide for others. Her faith was the foundation of her life, and she poured her love for Jesus into her family, her community, and through her devoted service at Shuswap Community Church.
As we grieve her passing, we find comfort in the words of Revelation 21:4: “He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain.”
A celebration of Eleanor’s life will be held on March 23rd, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Shuswap Community Church, 3151 6th Ave Northeast, Salmon Arm, BC, V1E 1J2.
In lieu of flowers, memorial tributes may be made to Sunnybrae Bible Camp. To leave an online message of condolence, please visit www.bowersfuneralservice.com.
Eleanor’s legacy of faith, love, and generosity will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.
