Obituary
Louise Rita Rande (nee Jones), 64, of Golden, BC passed away on January 13, 2023 after a short battle with bile duct cancer.
Louise, the oldest of five, was born on April 17, 1958 to Luther Everet Jones and Rita Cecilia Jones in Kelowna, BC. She married Raymond Eugene Rande on November 30, 1974 and had four children. Louise was an active genealogist and took pride in helping picture and document all the gravestones of the Golden Cemetery and other cemeteries around Golden.
Louise was predeceased by her parents, Luther Everet Jones and Rita Cecilia Jones of Golden, BC and grandparents, Lymon Everet Jones and Lila Vinette Jones of Kelowna, BC. She is survived by her husband Raymond “Eugene” Rande and her children Toni Wrisley (Chris Wrisley), Tricia Rande (Daniel Casselman), Chad Rande (Rebecca Rande), Brandon Rande (Rachel Rande) and her grandchildren Aidan, Connor, Kyle, Raina, Kayden, Anya, and Talia.
Services will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church in Golden on January 21 at 11 am MT with interment at Golden Cemetery.
