Lorrene Cass Bell, known by most as Rene, was born on December 22, 1961 in Regina, Saskatchewan. She passed away on October 2, 2025 after a battle with cancer, surrounded by love and peace in Revelstoke, BC.
Rene will be remembered for her warmth, wit and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She carried a bright spirit, a kind heart, and a gift for making those around her feel cared for and valued. Her presence was a constant source of strength, laughter, and love.
She leaves to cherish her memory: her devoted husband, Pierre, and her beloved children: Joshua Andrykew (Sally), Kristy Staltari (Domenic), Tyson Andrykew (Lisa), and Jordan Andrykew (Nina). Her stepchildren: Jimmy Bourget (Lauren), and Maria Fuhriman. Her Grandchildren: Brooklyn, Frank, Marinella, Ayda, Mila, Freddie, Luca, Tui, Mabel and Kaidon. Her Mother-In-Law, Mary Bourget and countless nieces, nephews, friends, and their families.
Rene's legacy will live on in the countless lives that she's touched, including those of the hundreds of people that she worked with at 3 Valley Gap over the years. Rene was so proud of what her and her family accomplished at 3 Valley Gap and she never took that for granted. She treated every employee that came to work each day as if they were part of the family.
She will be deeply missed and forever cherished in the hearts of her family, friends, and all who loved her.
A celebration of Rene's life will be held in the Spring, date to be determined, where family and friends can gather to celebrate her memory.
