Linda Ruth Lundquist passed away peacefully at her residence in Revelstoke on Wednesday, December 9th, 2020 at the age of 71 years. There will be no formal funeral service.
Linda was born in Penticton, B.C. on July 24, 1949 and had been a resident of Revelstoke since 1987. She was a journalist who wrote a “Dear Jane” column for a newspaper. Linda enjoyed writing, reading and painting. She was a person who “thought outside the box.” Linda was always concerned about friends and family and shared her gratitude with everyone. She had a dry, sarcastic sense of humour and a beautiful smile. Linda was a very spiritual soul.
Linda was predeceased by her grandson Morgan, sister Priscilla and good friends Kelly Hamilton, Joan Morrison and John Woodward. She is survived by five children: Darcy Burke, Zach (Sammi) Turkington, Josh Turkington (Cindy Smith), Virgil Turkington and Elizabeth (Darren) Kristiansand; grandchildren: Dale, Jacob, Hanna, Conner, Jessica, Wesley, Xander, Hunter, Lotus and Rowan; one brother; close friends: MaryAnn Richards, Jennifer Hamilton, Don McLeod, Gage Hamilton and Connie Dunham.
