Kathleen Margaret (Munro) Brown

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Kathy Brown in Salmon Arm on September 13, 2025.

Born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan, in 1946, Kathy spent many happy years growing up in Salmon Arm.

After living in Kamloops, Kelowna, and Vancouver, Kathy returned to Salmon Arm in 2005 with her loving husband, Norm.

Kathy loved golf, cooking, walking, and, above all, reading.

She was a gentle soul, loved by all—especially her husband Norm, her sons Dimitri and Michael Zaphiris, and her brothers Don and Bill Munro.

She fought the good fight but left us with beautiful memories and abundant love, surrounded by her close family.

A celebration of her life will be held at The Nexus at First (450 Okanagan Ave E, Salmon Arm, BC) on October 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Salmon Arm Bay Nature Enhancement Society (SABNES).
