Katherine Slapinski

With heavy hearts we announce the passing of Katherine Slapinski  in Salmon arm Dec 24th 2024 Predeceased by her loving husband Marion Slapinski of 54 years old.

Katherine grew up on a farm with her parents and 9 brothers and sisters. This is where she learned to love cooking and baking.

Katherine was a big personality in a small package. She had an impact on each person she interacted with. She was courageous, inspirational, kind, loving, funny, full of joy, a ball of fire that showed us what can be accomplished with determination and persistence. She lived her life to the fullest, despite her many challenges. Her greatest joys and accomplishments were the love of her husband and the gift of being a Mom to her three children.

Katherine will be lovingly remembered by her beloved children, Ron, Richard, her daughter Shirley and 6 grandchildren, brother Nick and sister Josephine.
