Jose Goncalves Dias

Jose passed away peacefully with his family by his side on May 8th, 2026, at the age of 92.

Jose is survived by his wife Maria, also his sister Emilia Amaral (Manuel) and brother Antonio Dias in Terceira Azores.

Jose was “Tio”/ “Padrintio” to Emily, Joe, George, Nelson, Sylvia and grand nieces Katie, Samantha, Isabella, and Nicole who he was very proud of.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, at 11:00 am at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Revelstoke, BC. Interment is to follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

All family and friends are welcome to attend the service and interment. A reception will follow in the Church Hall.
