Joanne Margaret Morgan passed away peacefully at the Salmon Arm General Hospital, surrounded by her family, on December 10th, 2025.
Joanne is survived by her 5 children; Mike (Norma) Morgan, Susan (Ron) Weiss, Jeffrey (Darlene) Morgan, John (Ming) Morgan, and Daniel (Carolyn) Morgan, 14 grandchildren; Kelly (Cody) Moerkerke, Ryan Morgan, Shane Morgan, Charity (Regan) Edser, Erin Weiss, Morgan Weiss ( Jill Guitar), Carie (Chris) Liebig, Laura (Andrew) Sparrow, Robert (Jodi) Morgan, Jennifer (Trevor) Barker, Anna Morgan, Kaitlyn Morgan, Tanya (Matt) Chomyc, Cody (Megan) Morgan and 27 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her brother Jim (Kerry) Rasmussen, brother-in-law Daniel (Cheryl) Morgan and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Joanne was predeceased by her husband of 55 years, Robert Morgan, her parents Dorothy and Walter Rasmussen and her brother David Rasmussen.
Joanne was born in Seattle, Washington on July 9th, 1936 and married Robert Morgan in 1954. Joanne, Robert and their 5 children immigrated to Central Alberta in 1974 where she resided until she moved to Enderby, BC in 2013.
Joanne was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and her family was her greatest pride and joy. She will be sadly missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
The family would like to thank the wonderful doctors and nurses at the Salmon Arm Hospital, her compassionate care from her Home Care staff and everyone who made it possible for her to stay in her home until her passing.
A celebration of life for Joanne will be held at a later date.
