With profound love and heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of our beloved patriarch, Jean-Paul Joseph Hetu, who has begun his sacred journey to the Spirit World.

Surrounded by the love, prayers, and presence of his devoted wife and family, Jean-Paul passed peacefully at 8:00 a.m. on December 31, 2025. As his spirit was welcomed by the ancestors, the morning sky was graced with a radiant sunrise of brilliant pink hues—a sign of love, grace, and peace marking his transition.

Jean-Paul will be remembered for the remarkable life he lived, the deep love he shared, and the enduring legacy he leaves in the hearts of all who knew him.

At a later date, family and friends will gather in the Moberly Lake–Chetwynd area to honour and celebrate the life, spirit, and memories of JP.
