It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Janet Cloutier at the age of 90 years.
Janet was born March 13, 1935 to Dorin & Nina Rollier. She was born in Salmon Arm and lived her whole life in the Shuswap. The last 20 years back in Salmon Arm where she passed away peacefully in her sleep, July 15, 2025.
Janet is survived by her children Philip (Wendy), Diane, Roger (Cathy) and Kevin, along with her 6 grandchildren Aimee, Christopher, Taralynn, Kimberlee, Justin and Steven, her 4 great grandchildren, Alicia, Tyler, Lincoln and Rowan and special great great granddaughter Artemis. She is also survived by siblings John, Ruth, Ben and Bill and her 96 year old aunt Lorna.
Janet is predeceased by her parents, husband Alec in 2006 and siblings Jane, Nelson, Lois and Doreen.
Janet loved flowers, traveling, fishing, and Hunting. She would sit for hours knitting or crocheting baby sweaters, afghans, toques, and doilies which she donated to the grandma's to grandma's and other organizations. She was always up to playing a game of cards, where she was always the score keeper. She enjoyed a good cup a coffee with friends just to talk and catch up on life.
Janet had a full life and enjoyed every minute of it. She was still living on her own, and driving her car right up to the end.

There will be a celebration of life for Janet on Tuesday, August 5th, 2025, at 1:00 pm at the Salmon Arm Elks Hall & Park.
