James Boyd Levi Ellery Azak

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of James Azak. James was born 25 September 2003 in Terrace B.C. and passed away 01 May 2026 in Vernon B.C.

James moved from Terrace to Salmon in 2014 and spent the last 2 years in Vernon. He graduated from Sullivan Secondary School in Salmon Arm in 2022.

James loved playing the guitar and self-taught to play. Johnny Cash was his favorite to play and sing and Kurt Cobain to listen to. He also enjoyed hiking, kayaking, and video games. James had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. 

He was predeceased by his mother, Falon Azak, aunt Olive Azak and grandfather, Elmer Azak.

He will be greatly missed by his grandmother, Fern Scodane, great grandmother Heather Scodane, uncle Isaiah Scodane, great uncle Corey, sisters Khyna, Hope, and brother Drake, his Mom, Donna and Foster family, Tracy, Jay, and Gail (Jeff) and many extended family members and friends, and his girlfriend, Cherise.
