With sad hearts we announce the passing of Isabella (Isa) Ellis. Isa was predeceased by parents; John and Lena Selkirk, husband; George and son; Ronald, sister; Sheila, brothers; Donald, Ian, Eric and David. She is survived by son; Paul and brother; Bruce, as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
Isa began life in Spy Hill, SK. She moved to Kenora, ON, remaining there until they retired to Salmon Arm. Joined later by son, Paul.
Isa had a varied life – secretary at various firms, involved in Rebekah Lodge #69 and was a lifelong member of the order of the Easter Star. She enjoyed bridge for many years and did volunteer work including at Salmon Arm Hospital where she was also employed.
She will be sadly missed despite knowing she is in a better place with those gone before.

A Celebration of Life and interment of cremated remains in the Lake of The Woods cemetery in Kenora, ON will be held at a later date.
