Herbert "Laurie" Lawrence Pendell

Herb, in the UK known as Laurie, had a long career as Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer. His time with aircraft was in England and India with the RAF during World War Il and a contrasting time in the Canadian Arctic in connection with the DEWLine (Distant Early Warning) later in Edmonton and Saskatoon.
Always active in sports, from water polo to pickleball.
He retired to Salmon Arm where he was able to put his talents to wood working and gardening.
Now passed his 101st birthday and not in good health, he was utterly weary, and just needed to sleep. "No more tomorrows"
