It is with incredible sadness that we say goodbye to an amazing, beautiful, and passionate man. Harry (Harold) Alan Fisher passed away on Friday, July 12, 2024, at the age of 61.
Harry was born in Wells, BC, before moving to Maple Ridge, BC, and then to Langley, BC, with his son, Ryan. He spent the rest of his life in Salmon Arm, BC, with his wife, Ellen. He worked in the Auto Industry for 30+ years and was excellent at what he did. He met a great number of people over the years, many of whom became life-long friends. “Great buddy ol pal of mine,” as he would say. Harry loved life. He enjoyed music, singing, football, riding his motorcycle, politics, and telling stories of his childhood. Most of all he loved his family and held so much love and admiration for them all.
Harry joins his parents, Nolan and Margaret Fisher, and his siblings; Arthur, Darrol, Gary, Gail, and Wayne, and is survived by his loving wife, Ellen, son Ryan, daughter Justine, two sisters; Sharon (Eddie), and Eleanor, as well as many nieces and nephews, and their children.
“Everyone is born with a father, but not everyone is lucky enough to have a dad. Many people find husbands or wives, but very few are lucky enough to find life partners that stay through thick and thin. Harry embodied every aspect of these things. He was everything a dad, and loving partner should be.” - Ryan
“You will always be by my side, and I will love you forever.” - Ellen
“Sometimes I think life is just a rodeo, the trick is to ride and make it to the bell.” - John Fogerty
Harry will always be loved and terribly missed.
