Harold Catherwood

Harold passed away peacefully at Queen Victoria Hospital in Revelstoke on September 04, 2024, at the remarkable age of 100 years and 5 months. He will be forever remembered and sadly missed by his children; Patricia (Richard) of Golden BC and Daryl (Katie) of San Diego, California. He will be sadly missed by his three grandchildren. He was such a joy to them. The memories will live on. Harold was predeceased by his wife of 53 years Bertha, his brothers; Lloyd, Orville and sister; Marjorie. Harold was a wonderfully skilled man with a never-ending love for making things work, a talent he used as a developer and entrepreneur throughout his life. In his off time he would escape to the Arrow Lakes and Columbia river to catch fish or seek the pleasure of being on the water to see his old homestead and explore other sites of days gone by.
A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, September 12, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Revelstoke United Church (314 Mackenzie Avenue, Revelstoke, BC) with Gloria Christian officiating. Internment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
