Grace passed away peacefully on September 13, 2024 after a very short illness. She was 90 years old.
Grace was born in Vancouver BC in 1934. She married Orla Erhardsen in 1956 and they welcomed their son David in 1964. They lived on the lower mainland until 1991 when they retired to Salmon Arm, BC. Grace was very active and kept busy right up until her passing. She especially enjoyed her time at “dayaway” doing crafts and social activities. She loved to paint and read and enjoyed time with special friends in her building and sharing the occasional glass of wine.
Grace will be greatly missed by her son David and daughter-in-law Chris and her grandchildren Dylan, Jesse and Katelyn.
At Grace’s request no formal service will be held. In lieu of flowers please consider a donation to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Salmon Arm Senior’s Centre (dayaway) in her name.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the nurses at Salmon Arm Hospital on the 2nd floor for the outstanding care and compassion they showed Grace.
