It is with great sadness that we are sharing with you that our son, brother, uncle, and friend, Drew (Garey Andrew) Bellinger of Revelstoke, BC, took his own life on September 26, 2025. It was just four days shy of his 55th birthday. He left behind family and many friends with shattered hearts.
Drew is survived by his mother, Joyce MacLeod; brother Jeff (Sabrina), adoring niece Ruby and special nephew Hershel. He is also survived by father Gary (Francine) from New Brunswick. He has many aunts and uncles and cousins that are devastated by this news. He was predeceased by all of his grandparents and his uncles Oss and Al. He was also predeceased by his faithful companions, Kea, Branko and Tony (Bullet). Ocho is still with us and is going to a new home soon.
Dogs were always an important part of Drew’s life. He always enjoyed life and adventures and loved entertaining people. Drew would want you to smile when you remember him. The next time you are climbing a mountain, or going on a bike ride, or skiing or sledding on a powder day, please think of Drew. He would love to be with you on those adventures and who knows, maybe he will be.
There will be no service, but there will be a gathering for friends and family at a later time. If anyone wishes to make a donation in his name, please consider the humane society for the protection of animals.
