 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our Mother- Grandmother-Great Grandmother-Friend

‘lang mae yer lum reak’ (long may your chimney smoke) was one of her favorite verses for wishing a long life to others.

Born in Pennyveenie in the Ayre region of Scotland, Fran came to Canada in the early 50’s and met Harlen Davidson (predeceased 1988).

They settled in Salmon Arm in 1965 and raised their family of 4 children. Fran is survived by her sisters Jean and Anne in Scotland, her children Ritchie, Sherryl, Debbie and Leanne, 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren. Fran passed peacefully at home on her own terms with family by her side. In lieu of flowers, a donation to the Red Cross would be appreciated.
