Elliott Manderson Obituary

Elliott Winston (Wynn) Churchill Manderson passed away at Queen Victoria Hospital, Revelstoke on Saturday, August 21st, 2021, after a battle with cancer, at the age of 80 years.  There will be no Funeral Service by Wynn’s own request.

Wynn was born in Loggieville, New Brunswick on June 20, 1941, and had been a resident of Revelstoke for the past 15 years.  Family was very important to Wynn, and he treasured all the time he spent with them.

Wynn was predeceased by his father Dudley Manderson, his mother Mary Manderson, and his daughter Kim Austin.  He is survived by one daughter: Kelli Redmond (John) and two sons: Gregg Manderson and Michael Courier.  Wynn was a loving grandfather to Michelle Chipman (Dan), Anna Kampman and Kallie Kampman who he saw on a regular basis, as well as his grandchildren who lived at a distance: Ryan Redmond (Stephanie), Jennifer Grant (James) and Lindsay Seltzer (Kyle).  Wynn loved spending time with his great grandchildren: Cohen, Mason, Kinsley, Amelia, and Emily Chipman.

Wynn’s family would like to extend special thanks to Dr. Molder and the nurses and staff at Queen Victoria Hospital, where he felt they all gave him the best of care.  Wynn always said he felt lucky to be cared for by such wonderful nurses.

The family would also like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Gary and Chrissie of Brandon Bowers Funeral Home for all the compassion and kindness you showed us during this difficult time.  You are amazing people.
