Edward "Ed" William Peterson

Edward William Peterson passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 4th, 2025. He was born on March 25th, 1945, in Calgary, Alberta.

His early childhood was spent on the family farm in Rockglen and later in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan. He and his wife, Wendy, moved to Winnipeg in the late 1960s where he began his career with New Holland, then on to Steinbach to manage over Southeastern Farm Equipment serving southern Manitoba farmers for over 40 years.

Ed was a humble, loving man of integrity who loved his Saviour, The Lord Jesus, his family, church and friends. He is survived by his second wife, Marilyn, children Chad (Marcia), Melanie (Roger), and Cory (Lisa), his stepchildren Jeff (Jessica), Janine, as well as his grandchildren, step-grandchildren, and one great grandchild.  He will be met in heaven by his wife, Wendy, who passed in 2018.

A celebration of life for Ed will be held at Shuswap Community Church in Salmon Arm on Saturday, June 14th at 2pm. His funeral will be held in Steinbach, Manitoba at a later date.
