Donald Robertson

Donald Alan Robertson passed away surrounded by family in Salmon Arm, B.C. October 30, 2023 at the age of 84.

Don grew up in Saskatchewan before moving to BC when he retired in 1995. He was an avid outdoorsman and a man of many talents. He enjoyed working with his hands to create, repair and make everything from furniture to his beloved ride on train. He was best known for building Misty Mountain Railroad on his Gardom Lake property where he gave rides to people of all ages. The layout included a large tunnel, and many bridges that ran through the forest. Many children and adults from around the world came for visits and rides.

Don is survived by his wife Kathi, children Carla, Sheila, Mike, Lee-Anne and Michael, many grandchildren, friends and extended family. Don will be missed by all who knew him.  There will not be any service as was his wishes.  Donations can be made to the Alzheimers Society of BC in his memory.
