Donald Dalton Obituary

Don went to be with his Lord Jesus on December 5, 2024.  He passed peacefully in his sleep.

Don was born on January 2, 1949 in Lethbridge, Alberta and was the youngest of the family.  He grew up on a farm just outside of Lethbridge, moving into town with his mother in 1960. Don graduated from Winston Churchill High School then entered Lethbridge Community College to study Accounting. He worked for a few years as an accountant before working for the City of Lethbridge on the road crew until he retired in 2014.  He and Suzie then moved to Salmon Arm. Don chose Salmon Arm for all the trees and the beauty of the lake. He wanted to worship at Cornerstone CRC because he felt at home there. Don loved the LORD. He loved Suzie, his two daughters, his two step-children and his 4 grandchildren. He loved trees and his yard.

Don did some things that may (or may not) surprise you.  As a young adult he lived in his car while attending university; he raised red Dobermans: he took tae kwon do; he acquired his auctioneer’s certificate; he owned a bison farm; he liked to dance; he went ice-fishing with his friend Ron; and, in his last years, he loved to putter around his yard and shop at the thrift store.
