Dolores Evelyn Hobbs passed away in Shuswap General hospital with family at her side.
She leaves her seven children, Steven (Jean), Christine, Lynn (Becky) Valerie (Terry), Warren (Kit), Vern (Lisa), Adrian (Doddie). She also leaves behind many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Predeceased by her parents Frank and Margret Hare and her two sisters, Jean and Margaret (Peggy) and her brother Herbie Hare also by her husband Walter Hobbs in May of
1993 and son-law, Rodney Keehn in May of 2018.
She always had a great sense of humor and loved going out for lunch and to the casino with family or her close friend Candy. She worked at Federated Co-op for many years, and served as secretary of the Salmon Arm fall fair. A longtime resident of Salmon Arm who grew up in the Silver Creek area.
Many people will remember her sitting at Picadilly Mall playing keno.

A celebration of Delores’s life will take place on Saturday, September 13th, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Salmon Arm Elks Hall, with a reception to follow.
