With great sadness and deep love, we announce the passing of David Charles Favell, a devoted husband, father, and grandfather, who passed away peacefully at his home on September 18, 2025, after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born in Salmon Arm on January 31, 1940, David’s life was defined by his passions and his craftsmanship. As a master millwright, he traveled across North America for more than 50 years, earning the respect of his peers and forming lifelong friendships wherever his work took him.
Beyond his trade, David’s true joy was found in his family, his music, and his gift for cooking. David is survived by his loving wife, his three children, his grandchildren, and his large extended family who cherished him dearly.
A Celebration of Life will be held on November 8, 2025, between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. at the 5th Avenue Seniors Activity Centre, 170 5th Avenue SE, Salmon Arm, BC. All who wish to join us in honouring and celebrating David’s life are warmly welcome.
