It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of our dear Father and Opa, David Jeffery Denhollander on Dec. 3, 2025.
David was an entrepreneur. He came to find his niche in working for himself and trying new things. He liked to think outside the box and his mind was always on to the next project. He provided many opportunities for his children to work, learn and be creative. He always said he had two left hands, but he made sure his kids could use theirs. He loved to travel, sing, debate and spend hours at a campfire. He spent his last hours surrounded by his family singing together at his bedside.
He is survived by his former wife, Marion and their 13 children, Sarah, Jordan, Jacob, Rebecca, David Jr, Joshua, Rachel, Philip, Esther, Miriam, James, Anna, and Benjamin, (11 who are married) 32 grandchildren (with more on the way) his mother Henny Desnoo, and 3 older brothers Rick, Ron and Jack. He is predeceased by his father Jack and sister Cindy.
A funeral service will be held at Bowers Funeral Home in Salmon Arm B.C. on Dec 12th, 2025 at 10 am, with a graveside service to follow at Shuswap Memorial Cemetery, with a lunch reception back at Bowers.
