Danny Dorosz

Dan was born in Rocky Mountain House, Alberta. With his parents he eventually moved to Calgary where he spent most of his life. He had a brief illness caused by complications due to a serious infection.

He is survived by his wife, of 65 years, Marge, daughter Daryl, son in law Jim and his new grandpuppy Maggie.

Predeceased by his parents Dan and Pearl and much beloved grand-dogs Toohey, Duggy, Otis and Mouse.

Dan graduated in 1967 from Montana State University with a degree in Architecture. He successfully worked in his profession for well over 30 years and continually used his design, building and renovation skills for all of his life. Marge and Dan moved to the interior of BC, from Calgary, a couple years ago to be closer to family.

Dan loved the desert, particularly Southern Arizona, where they had a beautiful second home in Green Valley, AZ. His ashes will be spread in a predetermined spot in Arizona that has a picturesque view of the Sonoran Desert, in the sun, among the cacti, next to the mountains. As per Dan’s wishes some ashes of his grand-dogs will be added to his own to accompany him on his journey.

The family would like to thank the doctors, nurses and staff of the Shuswap Lake General Hospital for their care and understanding.
