Damyen Martin

With broken hearts the family of Damyen Martin announce his passing on July 5th, 2021, in Salmon Arm.

Damyen Jules Martin was born in Kamloops on March 26, 1980.  At the age of three months, the family moved to Malakwa in the Shuswap, where he spent most of his life.

For those that knew and loved Damyen, he will be remembered for his caring heart, his willingness to listen to those needing an ear, his huge smile that made everyone feel welcome, his beautiful blue eyes that could light up any room and his explosive laugh that seemed to spill out from within. 

His younger years were spent at either the arena or the ball diamond where his natural talents shone through.  It is there that he made many of his lifelong friends.

Mourning his passing are his daughter Brooklyn, his son Maddux and their mother Lisa, his son Mason, his girlfriend Crystal, his parents Rhona & Brian and Don & Pam, his siblings Jay, Colin & Jen, Melanie, Michael, Tanner, Shelly, Crissy & Brad, Chelsea & Shawn and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Memorial Donations in memory of Damyen may be made to a not-for-profit society, of your choice, with a focus on addictions.

Family members sincerely thank everyone for their outpouring of love and support during this very sad time.
