Obituary
Our amazing dad, Cliff Hughson, passed away peacefully at the Shuswap Lake Hospital on January 22nd, surrounded by loved ones. Born in Worcester, England, Cliff immigrated to Calgary with his young family in 1969 to join his beloved sister Edith Houghton and her family. He moved to the Shuswap in 1996 to fulfill a lifelong dream of living in the mountains.
Cliff’s generous and loving spirit was undeniable to all who met him. He will be remembered for his strong love of family and his incredible work ethic. Cliff’s legacy lives on through his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren as well as his niece, nephews and many devoted friends who also became like family.
A service of remembrance will be held at St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church in Salmon Arm on Saturday, February 4th at 3:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Shuswap Hospital Foundation.
