Catherine "Cathy" Joyce Attrill

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts we announce the passing of Cathy Attrill on Dec 14th, 2025. Cathy was a loving wife and mother, with a quick wit and generous approach to life. Cathy was born & raised in Winnipeg but spent most of her adult life in Chilliwack. She had a long career at Sears doing all the displays, signage & artwork throughout the store. Following her working career, she spent countless hours making & donating blankets for various charities dedicated to children & those less fortunate.

Cathy was predeceased by her loving husband of 57 years Ed, her sons Darin & Alfred, and her three siblings - Alec, George and Grace.

She will be remembered & greatly missed by her daughter Penny (Joe) son Todd (Lisa), her grandchildren & great grandchildren, and all the peoples' lives she touched throughout her time with us.

While we are saddened by her loss, we feel truly blessed & thankful for the years we had together- and for her unending love and support at every turn in our lives.    

The family would like to thank the caregivers, nurses, activities coordinators, support staff and management in the Blackburn neighbourhood at Picadilly Seniors Community. You collectively made Mom's time there very happy, and your heartfelt compassion at the time of her passing is truly appreciated.

A family celebration of life will be held, followed by a casting ceremony at one of Mom & Dad's favourite places to go camping, Skihist Provincial Park.
